Job Description: Committed to delivering leading-edge social housing, Mosaic is now launching an exciting and innovative new service for tenants who have enduring mental health needs. Providing a programme of intensive support, we will enable our tenants to maximise their independence, make their own decisions and become more fully integrated within the community. To make this a reality we are looking for people who are committed to working collaboratively with tenants and other services in a creative and stimulating partnership.
£20K
Providing practical one-to-one support to tenants with severe and enduring mental health needs, you will respect their privacy, dignity and individuality as you help them to help themselves.
You will be fully involved in all aspects of this scheme, and will work as part of our support team alongside community-based mental health services.
Experience in this area is an advantage but just as important is a commitment to provide quality care and support and a willingness to learn and become aware of the issues involved. The role also calls for excellent communication skills and the ability to maintain supportive working relationships at all levels.
We are also recruiting support workers for other services, so if you are interested in working with other client groups, then ask for more details.
